New to FIRE?

A short primer. You can try the demo without reading every card.

What stands for

is Financial Independence, Retire Early. Savings cover spending, so work is optional.

Lean, Traditional, and Coast

Lean means spend less. Traditional means keep today's lifestyle. Coast means save enough that growth finishes the job. Barista means part-time work covers some bills.

How the numbers get in

People upload Canadian bank and brokerage CSVs. FlintBoard reads those files into net worth, spending, and and room. No bank login, stored encrypted on our server.

Staying on track

The board shows whether the current pace reaches the target age. People can change income, spending, or savings and see the age move, then adjust before they drift off the date.

Import your CSV

Download a CSV from your Canadian bank or brokerage and upload it. You confirm categories, duplicates, and coverage before those rows count.

See your FIRE pace month to month

After a few imported months, the board shows net worth, monthly saving, a pace label such as Speeding up, and an expected age. The age uses the same math as the signed-in board. It can help you see your pace.

Stored on our servers

No bank login. Your accounts and statements are stored on our servers. We don't sell them or send them to other companies, and we don't connect to your bank. You can delete your workspace from Settings.

Each workspace's money data is encrypted at rest with standard database and file encryption using a key on our host. Someone who controls the live server can still read what the app can read. Sign-in records, the product-update list, shared FIRE snapshots, and feedback stay in separate databases that are not encrypted that way. A backup you download is plaintext JSON you choose to save.
